Group Bolero Lessons in April!

Learn the Bolero during the April dance classes in Laguna Beach.  Every Monday from 2 to 3 PM at the Community and Susi Q Center, 380 Third Street in Laguna Beach.  Free parking.  Lessons are $7 per person at the door, on a walk in basis.  Candis Davis is our wonderful dance instructor. The Monday lessons will be on April 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30.

Casual Dancing on Wednesday, April 25th

Join us for a casual Tea Dance party at the Laguna Beach Community and Susi Q Center from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.  The music will be recorded for swing, slow, and rhythm dancing, maybe even some line music (Electric Slide anyone?).  Free to all participants!  The address is 380 Third Street, Laguna Beach.

BYOE  (bring your own everything) - libations, food, water, etc etc.

Dance Instruction Schedule

Our favorite dance instructor is Candis Davis.  

She is so good that a "regular " posse takes multiple classes from her, including us.  Her instruction is based on the experience of the group and can range from basics to much more advanced. 

She is prompt, effective, and very kind in her teaching technique. 

Ballroom Dance Lessons in Laguna Beach

Ballroom dancing is taught every Monday at 2:00 PM at the Susi Q/Community Center. Each month is a new lesson. February 2012 is the Nightclub Two Step with the first several lessons on the "s" Turn, trading places, and she goes/he goes. Each month the class selects a new lesson (or continuation of the current month).

Past lessons have included rumba, east coast swing, cha cha, tango, waltz, nightclub two step, and foxtrot.

Lessons are by Candis Davis, a terrific teacher with a following in Orange County.

Dance lessons are $7 per person and both singles and couples are welcome as the class rotates partners.
